Hi Guys,

Just had a call from someone say a socket is blowing any appliance plugged into it, he changes the fuse & it happens again. Seems strange this has only just started to happen, any ideas?

Definatley changing the appliance?

Could be a number of reasons, loose connection in the socket, water, corrosion, damaged socket etc.

Better to take a look and tell him not to use it in the meantime?

PS Any electrical work been carried out?

Thanks for the reply.....Ill give the kid a call, I thought maybe loose connections myself too. Its just that he wants a quote before I turn out. How can you quote for something like this..........
