can any one advise does the armouring on swa cable on dc side does it need earthing also does cable tray on dc side need earthing and what about containment on a roof is that left floating getting told different answers of different people people.and 1 more thing is there some kind of single flex to connect between inverters and isolators that goes up to 10mm. any one

Is the inverter transformer-less or not?

If the inverter has a transformer then you don't need to earth anything on the DC side.

If the inverter does not have a transfomer then...

Rule of thumb CPC half of line conductor but as it's outside minimum 4mm
Bond the mounting (all significant rails) together.
Bond the armour of the SWA together with the frame to a new TT earth electrode
Do not bond the SWA armour to the earth terminal on the inverter as this is (normally) within the equipetential zone of the property.
All the outside gear bonded together and taken to the new earth electrode.
Test new earth to AC line as normal to determine Ze of new electrode normal rules apply <100ohms (200ohms permitted)

That's how I understand it, anyone got any different ideas?
