Hi Guys
I was looking for a bit of advice really. I have been told that someone has been using my qualifications to allow themselves and others to carry out work . I was wondering if there is anyway of finding out if this is true, as i don't want to throw someone under the bus to find out it's just someone being vindictive.

In what way have they been using them?

To gain contracts as someone has to be fully qualified as an electrician, also i have my mcs tickets i know nothing has gone through governing bodies as i have already checked

Is it someone you know ?
How would they have got your qualification details?

Do you mean they're using your scheme registration number?

You'd need exact details from whoever told you about it , who's allegedly falsely claiming to be you, who they are presenting false copies of your documents / using your registration details to and then approach whoever they have allegedly carried out work for, prove who you are to them and get them to confirm or deny whether someone else posing as you has done work for them.

Yes it is someone i have worked for in the past ,and they have photos of my cards but i left over 6 months ago and have been told they are still using them to generate work .

This is surely a form of fraud. Put an immediate stop to it, call him/her and ask him to stop and if not its a solicitors letter. Any evidence gathering would be useful also
