Reading the two rules below; Can EMT be used in vaults?
1. Rigid steel conduit shall be used in all locations where run is exposed in
exterior locations or interior locations within eight feet of the floor level unless otherwise indicated.
2. EMT may be used above suspended ceilings, within gyp-board or plaster
walls, and where indicated to be exposed in interior locations higher than
eight feet above floor level and where exposed within electrical vaults.
