Discuss stand alone generator system in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

scammell man

any help on this one very much appreciated.
We have a stand alone 3 phase workshop any generator installation. The supply is TN-S, seperate PE back to the generator, which has its own earth electrode.

Ze for the system is in effect the short circuit impedance at the generator between a live conductor and the generator earth.

What sort of value would you expect to get at the generator?
