proud moment of switch on went down like a damp match this pm. Steca invertor should be showing flashing or constant LED neither showing. I am puzzled have changed the polarity of invertor. Supplier says that sometimes the invertor takes time to fire up. It is is very overcast outside so he says it may be that. Any ideas:innocent:

You really need to get yourself a DC clamp meter and do some tests. It should have bright enough earlier to allow the system to fire up so I doubt that would be the issue.

Thanks for this biggsolar. Will get clamp on. Not there yet but I spoke the supplier tech sept before connecting up the dc isolator to check. just by chance found some info on the isolator whilst trying to sort this out= supplier was wrong will try again  tmmw. Live and learn.

Had to extend the cables from the array MC3 and MC4 reterminated. the polarity on the invertor had to be changed hey presto. Thanks all
