Steel conduit

quick question does steel conduit need bonding at the start and finish of the run, because i have a job coming off soon replacing some metal twin fan extract units to plastic inline fans, at the moment the conduit it attached to the fan and the fan is earthed via a separate cpc in the conduit, the conduit is bonded at the controller side (start and metal controller unit box) now my question is do i have to bond the end (finish of the run).

cant lol earthing the duct with it as the duct wont be earth now

You don't need to earth the duct. You may need to do something else to it though... ;-)
