Hi, I've recently finished doing a 4 week course to gain 17th edition, part p qualification, 2392 inspection and testing and level 2 logic core qualification. I have been in the building trade for 10 years since leaving school. Tiling being my main trade, then moving on to general maintenance. However after too long not earning very much money I decided a change was in order. The mix of brains and still getting to play with power tools appealed greatly!
i would have loved to do a full apprenticeship but with a young family this has not been a option.
At the moment I have been doing small non notifiable jobs mixed in falling back on my old skills in general maintenance. I am hoping to find a local electrician after a mate if even for occasional jobs or a few days a week so I can get more experience and go on to do my level 3.
