I’m currently struggling a lot on this unit 302 and when I do revision I tented to not understand especially the maths questions which I’m not good at maths at all and remembering stuff is a big problem which I’m pretty much a disaster at remembering stuff and it’s only the 3rd lesson we are working on which I’ve only just started this course and exam is not booked yet but even if it was booked, I would pretty much fail 4 or 5 exam in a row. Any chance giving tips or something that would help me please I would appreciate it ?

Unfortunately, mathematics is a big part of electrical work… so all I can advise is practice practice practice.

Can you explain in short what Unit 302 requires?

I found some on-line test papers and quickly ran through them.
Hard to know what to say to you because I cannot see this issue through your eyes.

What stood out in your question is you say you are 'not good at trying to remember'... then switch to understand - there is a huge difference in how such information is processed and it might take more time and a different way of educating yourself. For some, certainly for me, I need to understand the why to learn. Yet once I have that it stays with me.
Learn terminology so you understand what is being asked. How are you with Ohms law?

Firstly thanks for replying to my question and I do appreciate. To answer your question. I’m a little bit alright with ohms law but besides remembering what V=I x R is. There’s a lot of formulas, symbols, units, diagrams to remember and that’s where my brain can’t handle even if I do revision and stuff and I’m thinking about skipping all the hard maths questions and the drawing questions in the exam and just working on the easy maths questions and the worded questions but I don’t know to be honest with you
