Hi just wanted a bit of help an electrical company has phoned me up to do some subcontracting work for them so I wanted to know is it better for me to charge them per hour or per day and does anyone know the going rate in yorkshire I am not registered with napit or anyone yet but fully insured in and have qualifications. Thanks

If you want the work take what they offer. If not, don't

Only you know what you're time's worth.

whats the point in wasting your precious time to post a pointless relpy imho

Take what they offer if you are happy with it , if not don't do it !
I would not worry what the next man is on as long as what you are on is good enough .
As for by the hour our day rate ? I would be asking what sort of hours they expect out of you each day before you decide that one if i were you .

I'm retired so have all the time in the world to waste. As and when I choose to do so.

Now, more to the point. Why did you waste you're precious time asking a pointless question?

PS grammar,
You ask a question (grammatically) but make it an opinion. Most improper.
