Has anyone done any submersible stuff recently. Have a house to do now which has a stream running below part of the decking/sunroom. The client would like some lights running up and down the stream. House is at first fix stage. The under stairs cupboard is pretty much above the stream so can put control gear in here, ie, switching connections, transformers. Any info will be appreciated

thanks

At a guess I would not have thought you could legally put an electrical supply into a stream that could be accessed by anyone (public) up or down stream of the installation.

I don't know now, but twenty odd years ago, I'd say the ideal for that would be fibre optics.
It was just taking off and we used quite a bit of it in a high class restaurant.
It was supposed to be the latest thing and really on the up.....never reached the expected levels, I feel.
It's still popular with swimming pool lighting, I know.
Then came LED's. I suppose.
