Have to price for a CU swap and the customer wants it moving into the house from the garage. Its a run of around 7 meters from the meter to the new position and will be running it in SWA.

When doing similar jobs, which kind of fused isolator is most popular with others, or is it a case of buy whatevers in stock at the time.

Cheers:cool:

If using the KMF style version with SWA, after glanding off into a steel adaptable box, would you just mount the KMF up close to the adaptable box and run the cores through to it. Not sure what type of knockouts or entry point the KMF switches have.

Thanks again

KMF perhaps not as suitable for SWA as the wylex metalclad, as you could gland straight into the wylex.

Another aspect of the wylex I like is the 'doubled' supply terminals which allows you to tail in & out to another switchfuse or CU for instance.

and cheaper as well. though i think the click unit is prettier. My lady's just asked me if they come in pink, ffs.

NICE! as i've got to put a 2 way CU in near to the meter to feed his garage, a 16 amp welder socket and 20 amp radial with spur for lights.

Saves having to faff around with Henleys
