Hello all,

Ths is my first post and I would appeciate any advice on a new job I have started.

I have an initial installation of 12 new build flats over 4 floors on a site in Plymouth. This is new to me as I have only ever done houses before.

The incoming 3 phase supply is a 95mm 4 core wavecon main terminating in a 18 way J type Ryefield Board, the main will terminate in 200 amp cut out and the board will have 3 banks ( phases) with 6 x 80 amp fuses on each.

I am running 16mm SWA from a ground floor meter cupboard to each flat. The meters will remain in the cupboard.

Can anyone please suggest the best setup to terminate and connect x12 three core SWAs to isolators and meters.

If anyone knows of a similar build I can take a look at, that would be great.

Thanks.

Who is the DNO? We did a smilar job in Reading a few years ago converting an old house into 10 flats. The DNO is SSE and they refused to let us put the meters in a central cupboard. In this case we put in cable tray from the cupboard housing the Ryfield to every flat and SSE ran their own cables to the flats. I think the only other alternative they would consider is to have separate external meter boxes for every flat. I also remember they refused to put anything less than a 100 amp cutout for every flat whereas you seem to have agreed 80 amp cutouts.
