Hi guys,

I have an assignment to do for my 2357(one of the first few) and I can't find anything in reg's or OSG on SWA installation/ termination excavation of route, requirements for SWA sleeving, ducting.

can some someone drop me a hint where to search it or on what page. (found something similar on 522 in reg's, but it's selection and erection nothing specific to SWA)

Thanks in advance.

SWA is usually installed on steel trays, secured with cleats, termination is usuay achieved with crimp lugs, you need special SWA glands to secure the cable to the isolator or panel. There are some videos on youtube, just look for SWA installations.
