hello please can you help
just bought 2 CCTV cameras swann
these are WiFi just power lead needed
but the camera is also attached to the Ethernet connection box
tested cameras all working fine now for a week but
its time to attach them to the out side wall but
this Ethernet is a little bit to big i think i`ll need like a 20mm drill bit
to drill the hole up a ladder ammm don't know !
so my question is i don't really need it so can i cut it off
so i only have to drill maybe a 10mm hole if not less to pass the power cord though
i do understand by cutting this cable my warranty is gone
thank you Paul

If you don’t need the cable, there’s no reason why you can’t cut it off.
Tape the end up or cut it close to the base and squirt some hot glue or silicon in to seal against water.

Are you saying that you want to cut the Ethernet connector off so that you only drill a 10mm hole instead of a 20mm hole?
Is the Ethernet connector not needed then???
Can you clarify your post mate.
