Swapping halogen bulbs to led bulbs

Can i change MR16 13 volt 35 watt halogen bulbs to MR16 12 volt 3 watt RGB led bulbs that change colour? I'm running 5 together as down lights on an overhang roof on my shed and would really like to change them for mood lighting in my garden, they are all connected to a 12 volt transformer at the moment.

Yes, but you need to change transformer to an led driver
