Evening all,

Does anyone now what the correct arrangement for a temp building supply is these days. I am just about to start first fix a new build and am going to have to provide temp supply . In the past I have put in an Earth rod, tails onto a switch fuse/dp isolator and out into a little board with rcd as main switch. Like an s type rcd before the consumer unit as it is a TT. Does anyone know what they like these days as I have tried to get in contact with power networks but I am still waiting for a reply
Many thanks

up front RCD 100ma S type, then into consumer unit 30ma RCD protection at that point, earth rod & tested with results would be good.
might get away with 30ma rcd unit at board without the 100ma but they might not connect.
3 phase definitely wont connect you without the 100ma trip

Is it a temporary building on a construction site or a construction site temporary supply? Not entirely clear from the thread title.
There's a difference. One comes under section 7, one does not.
