Hi, I was wondering what kit tesco install, does anyone know? they are currently offering 3.92kWp for £6800.00 inc vat.

that's the list price. We've come across a few people who've had quotes from them that are nothing like that once they actually get the quote, and nobody so far who's actually had that quote (though a small sample size).

Ditto. It's easy to give a basic price and when the surveyor comes round he's bound to find a reason to jack the price up.
 
Do you reckon them Value ones are blue and white striped?

Yup. Yield would be good too I reckon, if it wasn't for the label

They use SMA,Fronius and Platinum inverters with a mix of sanyo,sharp and yingli modules with schucco mounting systems. Tescos is run by Enact Energy from Cornwall, they also do Marks and Spencers as well.
 
Last installer I knew that were installing for them was using Schletter and Sharp Poly, then ET with SMA & Schletter.
 
I have done over 200 installs for them all over the south west, as well as remedial work on other installers work and they offer a range of suppliers. Their installs have ranged from two bed semis to mansions in surrey. They dont have a chosen supplier/manufacturer.
