When testing IR on a circuit spplying some outside floods with built in pir's, Is there any other way other than disconnecting the p.i.r in the fitting's?

yeah i can isolate via a 20A isolator but i need to test the circuit feeding the lights. Not to worry i will have to disconnect the light fittings and place a connector on them or just disconnect the feed to the fitting in the terminal block in the fittings themselves for the IR test. Just wondered if there was another way. Might need to do this on my assessment thats all.

thanks
