can anyone tell about testing (manual ) smoke alarm
I have installed 2smoke alarm plus 1 heat alarm when testing would all the 3 alarm beebs at the test touch at the moment only the smoke beebs together . the heat alarm beebs on it own I have installed the 3 alarm on radial circuit twin to 1 st and 3 core to the last
appreciate is that ok
 
Read the manufacturers instruction manual, it will explain how to install & test, they should all "beep" or sound at the same time if linked together.

Twin + E from CU to first detector....then 3 core + E to second and third detectors.
 
Generally speaking they will not all go off together. There will be a 5 or so second delay until all the others go off.

So make sure you are pressing the test button for long enough. Have someone else listen too, if they all have the same tone and duration of tone, it may take a little longer for them all to get out of sync with each other if you know what I mean?
