I will give another electrician to work besides going forward.
It was a case of desperate times and the job seemed small enough for me but perhaps not.

I think I see where it goes wrong. Having the neutrals in L2!?
But would work ok if they were in a block together!?

Hager have a neutral terminal in their switches. I think Click do as well.

What would happen if the neutral was terminated in L2 and the switch operated with the circuit energised ?

Thanks so much for the help/feedback/criticism etc today guys. Just double checked the work and I had done it correctly all along so no fireworks!
I did the diagrams in a rush on my break at work so reckon I just slipped up! However, it only takes one slip up ey!!?
We are currently on the hunt for a new electrician so I'll be shadowing him going forward until I have more experience under my belt, which was the plan all along.
Just wanna say you've been a great bunch and great help .
I'm sure I'll be back asking stupid questions soon enough!!
