I appreciate the replies too. I'm not one to get all sensitive when people are giving me constructive criticism.
Thanks for the help guys.
I will give another electrician to work besides going forward.
It was a case of desperate times and the job seemed small enough for me but perhaps not.
 
Thanks so much for the help/feedback/criticism etc today guys. Just double checked the work and I had done it correctly all along so no fireworks!
I did the diagrams in a rush on my break at work so reckon I just slipped up! However, it only takes one slip up ey!!?
We are currently on the hunt for a new electrician so I'll be shadowing him going forward until I have more experience under my belt, which was the plan all along.
Just wanna say you've been a great bunch and great help .
I'm sure I'll be back asking stupid questions soon enough!!
