Discuss The importance of the ZS test whan changing an accessory in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net

All this testing gets a bit boring doesn't it but just the other day I was changing a panel heater for a client and duly plugged in my MFT to check the Zs - the reading was 22.7! The main house sockets were 0.25 and the attached cottage was 0.35

So today I went back today and conducted some investigation....this is what I found.

Adaptable Box.jpg

An approx 35 year old adaptable box, and where the T&E goes in at the top there is a gap, and at the bottom where the SWA was once firmly secure, its now loose. Bloody screws are rusted in so going back again to "gain access" and replace the box with a nice shiny wiska.

All in a days (interesting) work!!
