Not enough information to give a professional opinion.

Fair enough - 50 kWp PV system currently using 2 ABB Trio inverters, one side performing below expectations due to shading from a nearby tree affecting one string in the afternoon.
I am offering to fit optimisers to the affected side of the system connecting to one of the inverters.
Need advise on which optimisers to use and whether the benefits are really worth it.

Quite annoying that I can't seem to get any of these in PV Syst.

You might facing due east or west get a 10% gain but don't bank on it. Will this ever be cost effective? You are looking at 100 optimisers.

Have you looked at altering the scanning period on the inverter? I thought this was something that can be done on Power Ones.

In this case both sections of the array are south-facing. The inverter connected to the panels affected by shading is producing about 40% less than the other one, loosing about £ 1.5 k per year.

If I am to believe the optimiser manufacturers, I should be able to get at least half of that back if I optimise the part that is shaded.

Luckily, this is a flat roof with consoles, getting to the back of the panels is easy. 100 panels exactly connected to each inverter, I only need to optimise one.

The BMs are the cheapest, all in all fitting them would cost the customer about £ 2.5 k.
Tigo will be somewhere around 2.8.
SE, around 3.1 as I will need the ones that I can use with non Solar Edge inverters.

Fitting optimisers seems to make sense, but it's a close match. I've used SE before on east-west roofs and they are performing well, but I've only used them with SE inverters. Tigos and Black magic seem better suited for systems using other inverters, but I've never tried either.
