Formatting messed up my previous post so reposting with descriptions rather than links:
<I couldn't see how to delete my previous messed up post>

So I lost a brass grub screw from a BG double pole cooker control unit wit single socket and power indicator 45A.

I'm reasonably sure its a brass M6 screw 12mm long. Would one from this likely fit or will I have to buy a new socket just for one lousy grub screw?

Best to use the grub screw designed for the hole, I’m afraid.
The joint box shown on the link is unsuitable.

The reason they use grub screws is that there isn’t excess brass protruding up which could touch the metal back box when energised.

Unfortunately, buying a cheaper accessory such as a single socket may not work either as the screws may be smaller.

Are the earth terminals the same sort of screw? You could double them up into the same terminal if need be, if there are two earth terminals.
(The lives and neutrals have to be seperate)
