Toolbox choice Festool

Something as basic as a toolbox can save time and money during your working day.
Because I'am a diyer I cover a variety of trades so I need a toolbox to accommodate this. A few years ago I came across the Festool Systainer fitted with a hand tool insert not cheap I grant you but a great bit of kit, handy to have all your commonly used tools to hand.

I have used most of their gear,and the most impressive item was a 6" Rotex sander - absolutely awesome.

I suppose at £30,the boxes are not bad value,a bog standard Stanley organiser being about £15.

I must admit I don't own any of their power tools mostly bosch and makita but the boxes are convenient to use and move about.

Only kidding, anything stackable is god send and smaller bag with shoulder strap to cart the most used tools around.

That is fancy for some of the telecoms 'engineers' I've worked with. One turned up with a screwdriver and a pair of snips in a Tesco carrier bag, he couldn't even make off the CAT5 he was sent to do.

I've got quite a collection now, I blame the local building supply company who had a special offer on Festool boxes.

I used to have a proper GPO leather tool pouch somewhere.

Stanley STST1-70317 is the best toolbox ive had in years. Best ?£25 I ever spent. Detachable top case is genius.
