A charity think might be slightly different. When we do trade shows we spend a good portion of our budget on the signage and lighting. We also have giveaway packs that have decent gifts such as flash drives with our company name on them.

With a local charity event you might not want to go overboard. If you upstage the other locals too much you might cause ill feelings.

Charity event at a local hall needs a simple and clear approach with a professional background. You need to catch peoples eye initially.
Do not over clutter, as people want to understand things quickly and simply (if possible).
People like some free stuff but aim for simple useful branded items that are not expensive.
Have more detailed information readily available for those interested so that you do not have to spend too much time explaining things.
Nothing should appear "homemade" because they are expecting a local, easy to talk to, but absolutely professional company!
