Client of mine has himself about 195w of RGBW LED strip and a controller rated at 288w (24v)
😆

What's the easiest way to bring it in line, stick a 0.1 ohm resistor in line? Do all 4 elements of RGBW strip ever get used at the same time?

If the power supply can manage it, I don’t see the issue here.

LED tape usually has a rating of so many watts per metre… multiply by length, and check power supply is big enough.

Is it 5 channel coming from controller? (6 wire)
You will have RGB and maybe a couple of white temperatures.

As above. It will take the power it needs, so as long as the driver is above that it should be fine. You don't need to match the 2 figures up.
