hello there
done my first tt system a few weeks ago
when it comes to the zs box on the certs obviously the readings are gonna be higher due to the electrode resistance (114 ohms)
do you fill it in or leave it blank??
any help would be appreciated
cheers
happy new year

why would you "leave it blank"?

because the values exceed the maximum zs values stated in the regs
i read that some people using megger software were having probs because the values were too high, even though they'd stated that it was a tt system.
one of the threads i've read previously did say to leave blank but i thought this wrong??

all your readings will be relative to your zs reading anyway???
Your disconnection times in TT are getting covered by the use of rcds
surely.

After you have measured the Earth rod impedance and it is acceptable (ideally below 200 ohms) then in the Zs box, after a quick loop test for each circuit to confirm its still low enough, you can record <200.

Not ideal leaving it blank.

Thats what i do and have not been questioned on it.
