Hi,
Is it normal to run a twin thermostat imersion tank off a single time clock & single supply? My simplistic thought, not being a heating engineer, is that 2 supplies would be required in case both thermostats were used at the same time?:(
 
When you say twin thermostat, do you mean that or has it got twin immersion heaters?

Some cylinders have 2 heaters and are wired so that you can heat a half tank or full tank, you used to be able to get a top mounting heater that was marked sink/ bath, one was longer than the other.
