3 phase standby generator of rating 30KVA is to be install in the lightning prone area. The utility main line is TT arrangement where neutral point is grounded with 3 phase and neutral wire provided to load system.
A separately driven generator ( standby generator) is also needd with TT earthing arrangement .Do i need to ground the neutral coming out he alternator provided that metallic frames of generator is earthed to separated grounding system ( neutral and body are not bonded)
will you please provide the complete detail regarding the installation of generator with earthing arrangement and value of earth resistance require for the earthing system both for neutral grounding and body earthing
 
The output of a generator would normally be TNS not TT, the star point would be connected to earth electrode and to the generator frame.
The earth electrode should have as low a resistance to earth as is possible.
