Hi lads,

anyone know if a Clock Thermostat OCD2 by OJ electronics can be replaced with a 'warm up' type controller?

Does anyone know where I might source the OCD2 from, struggling online to find aywhere.

any help appreciated

It depends on the floor sensor , I think theres two different types (different resistance?), if the new clock works with the same floor sensor then you`re OK

Must admit, i would try and replace like for like,

If there was every a problem with warranty in the future, it may be void if the correct stat wasnt fitted.

Give Underfloor Heating | Electric | Floor Insulation | Uheat a call, they're sponsors of our tile forum. They have a range of stats, but not the one you're after, though they may be able to tell you where to get one from, and they will if they know. Otherwise, ask for an Aube AF132 but check with them to make sure the the probe is fine with it.

Failing that the probe should have been installed in conduit so you can replace it (they are often only guaranteed for 12 months), if that's the case, the Aube is the best stat on the market IMO and a very very good stat (and probe too!)
