Hi all, I'm currently working my way through the EAL knowledge questions for the second time due to my assessor 'losing' my first attempt. Due to not being in college anymore, no access to BS7671 and a constant switch of college assessors it is hard to get any extra help, the wording of the questions is unbearable and mind-numbing, if anybody could help me out with the answers, a digital copy, or just to re-word the questions it would be a MASSIVE help and would be greatly appreciated!
Questions are as follow:
Q1. what are the implications for relevant parties of carrying out an isolation?
Q2. what is the importance for using personal protective equipment and safe appropriate tools for specific jobs?
Q3. what are the hazards associated with using electrical equipment and plant including their lifting, handling and fixing?
Q4. What part of the IEE wiring regulations as specified in the lasted British Standard for Electrical Installations are relevant to types and uses of wiring systems, writing enclosures and equipment?
Q5. Where can you find out about the principles of electrical theory, which allow for safe installation of electrical wiring systems, wiring enclosures and equipment?
Q6. What are the requirements of the installation specification with regard to the type of site required?
Q7. what is the best practice with regard to methods of testing, their inter-relationship and sequence?
Q8. what is the importance of accurate labeling and recording of the test?
Q9. what are the characteristics of different types of cabling and component and how would they impact on the test?
Q10. what are the approved procedures and requirements for commissioning the installation?
Q11. what are the approved reporting procedures?
Q12. how would you catty out the tests and what is the effect on equipment not part of the fixed installation?
Q13. what testing takes place under live conditions? (got this one)
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
thanks for your time.
