I had 3 Uniview cameras (POE) and a NVR installed a couple of months ago by a local electrician, last job before the lockdown.
I had planned to control this from the App, EZview, but that was hopeless so bought a monitor. The monitor seems OK but I'm no wifi/internet expert and am not sure if it's storing on the cloud or not. But mostly I would like the app to work - it was OK for around 3 weeks, then got an automatic update and won't do anything now, says everything's offline even though the devices are registered to it.
Does anyone have experience of this setup, and is there an alternative app I could use?
Thanks
Roger

The EZView is not instantly intuitive, but worth exploring fully. You have to buy extra storage on the cloud if you want to keep lots of stuff. I use it on my PC, my laptop and my phone and it's been very stable so far.

Thanks - since the automatic update I can't get it work at all. The NVR doesn't appear on the devices list, and the cameras show as offline. I could never get remote config on the cameras anyway, but now the app does nothing, which is very frustrating.

the begging question is there a drive in the NVR and what is the gb for it .
It was working fine before the update, and the lights on the NVR are flashing as they always did, which apparently indicates the cameras are writing to it and it's recording. Everything works fine on the monitor connected to the NVR, it's the app that can't find the system since the update. I've deleted and installed it 5 or 6 times but nothing.
