I have the attached socket in a bathroom. I have never seen it before, and cant seem to find a suitable adapter for it. Does anyone know anything about this socket, and where you can find an adapter for it?

Thanks

nope - its too wide for normal electric shavers (or for an electric toothbrush anyway) - its around an inch wide between the two outer pins

you can still buy them in B&Q today! trust me the answer is on the unit. "Shavers Only";) You don't use the 2 outer pins together, you use the left pin and centre pin for 115v (American) equipment and the right pin and centre pin for 230v equipment (Europe).

ha - i figured that much, i just thought it was an old fashioned style one. what kind of adapter will allow an electric toothbrush to plug into it?
