was wondering when it comes to an unsatisfactory condition report, then once the corrections are made do you have to redo the form or just add a letter to it stating it is now satisfactory?

The EICR will have the faults documented so when the work is done just marry up the new certificates to the report !

Sec F details the recommendations Subject to the necessary remedial action being taken etc!

You need to provide either an Electrical Installation Cert or a Minor Works Cert depending on the extent of remedial works completed to eliminate the departures recorded on the EICR. You may also need to inform building control upon completion. A letter stating the defects have been removed is NOT sufficient under BS7671.

In this instance you would need to complete a minor works certificate and state on it the departure and EICR serial number.
example. 'Protective Bonding to water carried out to rectify C2 departure of (EICR serial number). You do not need to inform Building Control for this as far as i am aware.
