Hi
i was just painting my ceiling and unscrewed the ceiling rose to cut in and noticed that the wiring doesn't look quite right.
there are 3 cables so i assumed 1 in, 1 out and the switch. There are 3 reds in the centre block, 1 black in the 2 gang block with the neutral of the light, and 2 blacks in the other 2 gang block with the live of the light.
Any ideas?
many thanks Si

If you're concerned about it and know enough to do it safely then drop the flex out and swap it over. Leave the ceiling rose connections alone, the flex is the easiest way to do it.

the N block should have 3 terminals, not 2.

and , of course, the black switched L should have a red sleeve fitted, or is it brown. what's the colour of the day, lads?

you could call it "invisible rose"
