I'm going to need to make some 'temporary' UPS systems next year - I'll have to find possibly some rack mount units that can live in an outdoor cabinet, probably I guess with a fan involved too for ventilation. Only need to be 3kVA, nothing 'clever', no computers to link to or anything like that, I literally just need to guarantee that a 13A outlet (that's probably more like 3a in practice!) can stay running for a couple of hours if needs be.
There's a multitude of options available for computers which will all do the job, just wondering if people are using simpler systems.
Actually, @Lucien Nunes, this might be one for you - it's to literally belt and braces level guarantee that the VAR and Goal Line tech systems used by FIFA stay operational once they've been calibrated and certified for the particular ground. The OB truck end is easy - add more generators, but the tech on the actual cameras is quite something else and it's all PoE and they're incredibly precious about it!
