rewiring a property and told young apprentice rip out all old wirng
unfortunately he included the boiler controls in it
its a worscter 28cdi combi now the stat a manual one was made off in a 6 terminal junction box i know that the stat goes straight to the boiler but this jb also had wires going to a wiring station
the system has 2 zone valves and a hot water cylinder with a stat
i cant work out how they were controlling the zone valves with just a 3 core up from the boiler which is just the stat


any suggestions :cool:

youll probably find that the the boiler is switched via the micro switch in the valves hence only a 3 core cable normally it goes from the programmer to the connection box then links into the stats and valves , have a look at the thread central heating the wiring could be a standard S plan all all info for that you 'll find on there
