I have a Viking downdraft ventilator paired with a viking 600CFM Blower. I have all the connections made between the two. When I plug in the appliance, the blower immediately kicks on - and will never shut off. The rest of the appliance works fine and I can adjust the speeds of the blower - except for off. it should not kick on when the appliance is plugged in. Rather - it should wait for power to the blower to be called upon by the user.
This makes me think that there is a bad relay or something on the main board. At $150 to 300 for the board, I thought I would see if I could get some electrical appliance board assistance.
