My lords, ladies and gentlemen, I was asked to look at some outside lights for a customer, they are in his garden (palstic spike type) they are 240v and have been installed by a very definate john wayne (connector block wrapped in insulation tape and burried!) i have put the connections into ip rated boxes and all lights are good apart from one little sod which will not work, have metered the cable at the light and have 230v across L - N and L -E but if i put a bulb in will not light up (have tested bulb) any ideas anyone...?
