Hi all, just replaced the washer on my full valve. All works ok but is there a particular way these should be fitted due to the cross/nipple seen on the picture? I have taken pictures of both sides.
Hope this makes sense!

Also replaced quarter turn tap inards. Could only find one on Lunns website to suit. Measured ok, ordered correct number of sploins and just fitted it. Fixed drip lovely but tap shroud won't screw down any further! See pic. No make on tap. I think the safest and best option in future is to change tap!
Not cheap to replace inards plus delivery!
What do you think, do you change many??ImageUploadedByTapatalk1354989158.023124.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1354989179.842300.jpg

would this thread not be more suited to the wet-heads forums? just because us sparks can walk on water, doesn't mean we can do plumbing.

As long as the fill valve works its in the right way!
As for the tap valve take the old one with you and pop to a supplier who should be able to match it up. Simples :)

Not so simples, been there done that, none of them were able to get one. Just said unless you have a make, buy a new tap.
Thanks for the replies though.
