Think most of the guys here will be taking it to the scrappy themselves, I doubt if they would give it to you for nowt.

what would you advise? Do they/you take it to the scrap metal merchant themselves?

I think most sparks will gather up and take it themselves as the majority of the time it will only be an accumulation of smallish amounts.

Again i am only speaking for myself others might have different views.
