Hello, new guy here and I'm not sure of correct section or even correct forum for this question. At a local thrift store I purchased a Warrick 1d1d0 relay, looked interesting for a dollar. I play with home electric power and it looked interesting. Any way the input is 115v and the output is 300v. My main question is how dangerous is it?

It is of no danger unless you connect it to an electrical supply.
Do you understand what a relay does?
Have you any pictures?
What is your intended use?

Which thrift store did you buy it from?

What do you aim to use it for?
not really sure. i have a friend that is putting together a vintage pulley run system for his old machining tools. don't know if he could use it. I found out what it's for from gems. Do you have a suggestion?
