Discuss Wasting electricity with electric cars? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I still prefer a motohome. Just park up, turn the gas on and your done. Could be a pain just to nip to the shop for a pint of milk though. I used to enjoy a drive up to the highlands, stop off in the Lakes on the way, and wild camp.

A friend of my father's tows a small car behind his motorhome on an A-frame. He aslo straps a motorbike to the back of it.

Brother in law gets to drive around in some pretty impressive motorhomes from time to time. He's transport manager for a F1 team ( and also helps out with a sports car racing team), so occasionally he has to move around one of the driver's motorhomes, and sometimes has one parked around the back of his house when F1 is on a fly away. F1 transporters are something else inside as well, in the accommodation areas.
