Quick ?
We all know that if there has been water ingression then the circuits showed be fully inspected and tested before being re-energised. However does anybody know the reg or legislation that states this please?
Thanks
Billy

More best practice than a reg.
I know a certain person who will just take for instance a light fitting down leaving a connector block still live with tape over the switch till the water stops and then return and stick the same light fitting up

I’d be writing a report stating that in your professional opinion you recommend that I&T is carried out and why stating the risks involved and the potential outcomes if it isn’t done and hand it to the appropriate person maybe with an electrical danger notification attached. That way it ain’t your problem anymore.

OP before I approve your latest post can you explain why you are asking the question.
