Hi all
Am wiring outbuildings with TT supplys, no extraneous parts within same but water
on exterior walls of buildings. Would you bond same to TT or leave, The water standpipes are
in steel. Also putting exterior socket close by
Any thoughts

As you are putting a socket outside then yes.

I wouldnt...they are outside the equipotential zone and being outside are completely surrounded by 'earth potentials',there is no point.

Don't think you read his post properly

I did read the full post and maybe I'm wrong on this but I still can see no point in bonding outside of the building.
The purpose of bonding is to ensure there can be no potential difference between conductive parts and services entering the quipotential zone which may introduce an earth potential.
In this case the conductive part is the earth pin on the socket and the service is the water standpipe, but even if you bond the pipe, because you are outside you are surrounded by the general mass of earth and as such an earth potential which is not bonded. Put another way it not possible to create an equpotential zone. Therefore in my view you have done nothing to reduce the shock risk so bonding is not worthwhile.
