CK? Some of the guys I work with prefer the 6" version, but most use 8". I've been using the 9" and find them great - lifted by accident one day and quickly got used to them.

Never used Knipex shears, but can't fault those made by CK - other than nipping a finger between the stops, once in a while.

Have Bacho 6" shears, but not used them - some guys swear by them, but they seem very small. Bahco quality seems to be less consistent than it once was and I think this is down to additional manufacturing locations. Made in Sweden is still generally excellent, but all bets are off for tools made elsewhere.

Usually disks are 115mm or 125mm when new, but they get smaller with use... Same internal hole of 22.something mm.

Our grinder is for 115mm and the guard almost but not quite takes 125mm. Recently I was needing to cut a lock's tongue off as a friend had lost the keys to a door marked for fire use (two door to same room, on same corridor, different keys WTF?!) and I had to use a 125mm disk and no guard. DO NOT DO THAT! As well as the usual PPE (gloves, eye protection goggles, ear defenders) I was very, very, careful not to have any of my body in the line of fire if the disk shattered at 10,000 rpm and tried to exit via the far window.

Mini circuar saws are exceptionally useful, despite their slow speed and diminutive stature.
