Check the instructions for this one. All the tritons I've ever meddled with (admittedly not that many) have said no sealing around/tiling up to the unit. Quite specific, big bold letters in the instructions.
 
I just don,t like em, stood in a pool of water, naked , in front of a flimsy plastic box capable of delivering 40/50 amp of power and you just don.t know what idiot has installed it . maybe it's just me ?

I'm the same using light switches. Just a flimsy bit of plastic between me and all those volts. Terrifying.
 
The shower we had in our old flat was lower than usual, as the manufacturers instructions said that both hot/cold feeds had to be lower than than our cold water tank in the airing cupboard for proper water flow and to comply with their guarantee.
