brushed steel. chrome is never brushed, it;s shiny.

and he's also found a way to defy gravity. there's no facelate screws holding it up.
 
Looks liked brushed chrome/brushed steel or possibly BG's brushed iridium range (which I think is a bit darker than the steel/chrome option).

Thanks for the replies all. I tried brushed chrome and it didn't mach and then I bought a BG iridium one and that didn't match either. I have now got to go back to the customers with hopefully the correct match (whatever that might be).
 
All makes have slightly different shades of brushed chrome. I normally get the customer to source any fancy switches and sockets otherwise you always get.
I don't like that shade or is the anther option.
You spend an exceptional amount of time back and forth with samples for zero money.

Better to turn the dimmer around and see what brand it is. Otherwise you will be forever guessing and getting it wrong. Most makes have the branding on the back of them.
