Hi guys I'm new to being self employed and was wondering if anyone could help with a few certification questions??I'm pricing a job where the consumer unit is to be moved into the garage as the wall it is currently on is being removed, ive checked above(bungalow) and the cables are long enough to reach the new location of cu. The meter is being moved so there will be a need for submain cable. The existing cu is a split load cu and is just being relocated I was wondering what test forms should I be filling out for this job?? Periodic for the existing installation and installation cert for sub main?? Also got alterations to kitchen sockets & lights which would just be minor works and new cooker circuit which would obviously be an installion cert. Any help would be muchly appreciated

Do everything on an installation certificate, if you're having the meter moved then everything will have to be in order before EDF will even consider moving the supply. Make sure main bonding is visible and that you can prove part p registration. This is more important than correct certificates when moving the supply.
